I recall you guys were on GAX/GTX for a good period of time. Did you have issues with low WBC and low platelets and abs granulocytes that precluded you from getting treatment? I know my husband had issues with this in the past but was always able to get neulasta.

Now with GAX -- he has to get the series of 3 shots after his 2nd treatment -- well -- he only had one treatment of GAX along with the 14 days of xeloda) and already his numbers are down.

Did you guys deal with this at all and, if so, how did you handle?

I assume he will just need to alter his treatment cycle -- maybe 1 infusion every other week instead of every week..... but not sure.....

Any thoughts? You know I respect what you both have to say because you have dealt with so much and have done so well.....
