My MIL - after being in the hospital for over a week and not knowing the cause of the fever/infection, last night they 'drained' her stent that was causing the infection. Couldn't finish, she went into distress, so now they will finish tonight or tomorrow. Anyone familiar with this and/or the outcome. Did they take too long to figure this out. All of her numbers are now heading in the right direction. So I guess it is good, but am really looking for some feedback on this. She is angry, came to with tubes in her throat and an oxygen mask.....

My job now is trying to make a case and too convince her to get out of where she is and go to a better hospital/cancer center?!!?
