It does mean that you should talk with your oncologist about possible chemo to zap any possible cancer cells that still might be in your system but not detectable by any other tests.
Following my whipple, even though there were no positive lymph nodes, my doctors still recommended chemo with radiation. I opted for the treatment to help prevent any reoccurence. Though I did have a reoccurence after 7 years (one spot to my lung), I'm still glad I did the post operative treatment. Can't proved it helped but can't prove that it didn't either.
You need to have that talk with the doctor and then decide for yourself.
