There are s few rashes like necrotizing panniculitis and a few more that can be caused by his pancreas. Some tumors like acinar pancreatic cancer tumors can cause this. The pancrease can cause an elevation of lipase enzymes that cause this rash.

The pancreas can cause rashes neither the onc or derm may have much experience with dx unless they think of this. Mention to his team about checking his lipase levels and other pancreas causes of the rash.

Acinar pancreatic cancer tumors can also cause marble sized lumps under the skin from lipase elevations and leakage. Rashes are listed for pancreatic disease or pancreatic cancer symptoms on knowledgable pancreatic ca websites. One of the posters here some time back had a mom with glucagonoma that caused a nasty rash. Their dr would bring in students to look at it because they could go a lifetime and never see it again but helpful if they did
