The steroids usually keep you perked up for a few days (steroids are given before the chemo to help nausea), and then you hit the fatigue later in the week.

Make sure you have a plan with the docs worked out for nausea (and at least 2 meds at home including zofran), diarrhea (what med to take and when if it happens, and when to call), drinking recommendations, and how to manage the neuropathy symptoms (don't sit in front of the AC, thin pair of gloves if getting something from the fridge, avoid cool drinks for several days after chemo).
