I need to no the relationship of the CA 19-9 after the tumor has been removed? My husband had the wipple in Feb 2012 and in April 2012 his CA 19-9 came back at 289. the Dr wants us to do radation along with Chemo due to the CA 19-9 results-we are under-the understanding that radation does not help with Pancreatic Cancer and we are in stage 2 B
