Let me first say thanks to all of you who post on this board. I have learned a lot from all of you. I have been watching my CA19-9 go up over the last few months. Results of Friday's PEt scan show a small spot on the liver. I am scheduled for a triple phase MRI tomorrow. Can someone please explain the advantage of an MRI versus another Ct scan. Also, what is the common way to treat one liver tumor? Thanks again.
