I've seen people suggest that diet and poor choices contribute to PC and the people on this board go crazy. Many are unwilling to even consider the fact that lifestyle plays into our health. Wake up out there. There are always 'outliers' meaning you lived healthy and perhaps the environment or family genes are partially responsible. Preservatives and the food environment and the fact that the US is so obese and eats so poorly is contributing to rising gastro cancer rates. Smoking is directly linked to esophageal cancer, now processed foods and poor food and alcohol choices are being linked to PC. Don't we want this cancer rate to go DOWN? Then we need to pay attention. Don't be defensive, if it doesn't apply to you, that is fine . as the previous person said, this is not 100% the cause, but a huge contributor to PC
