Palliative chemo with Gemzar is perfectly reasonable, and considering that he
wants to try it and is eating well - I would definitely go for it!
Call the Hospice program, and tell the supervisor of the nurse that you have
decided (with the recommendation of your oncologist) to start palliative
Gemzar. Also tell them that the hospice nurse upset you very much. The
supervisors need to know that the nurse upset you.
I definitely complained to our home care company when we had trouble with one
nurse. It was such a good decision.
