I have Necrotizing Pancreatitis. I have sufffered from intestinal disease
since my days ona ctive duty working with chemicals in the usaf many years
ago. MY intestinal disease was first just ignored by doctors, and i was
treated lieka mental patient. After being told it was gastritis, than,
ibs/ibd, then I complained of soemthing growing in me and being extremely
sick, 20 years later I kept telling doctors there was something large growing
in e,, they finally found a 5 inch cyst on the hea dof my pancrease. Two
failed surgeries and 6 months in the hsopital, on a feeding tube, no food or
liquids were possbile, and i losss the ability to walk and loss al muscles..
the surgery took most of the large syst, and it wa snon cancerous but al of
the complications, infections, and more and another six months to walka nd
I was left with throbosis, necrotizing pancreatitis, and more stuff.. lots
more problems. I am treated by the VA hsopital. The VA disability system has
bene fighting me over benfits forcing me to go through appeals after denials
I originally got sick from petrleum chemicals on active duty 30 years ago,
and that's where most of the intestinal disease started along with swollen
limbs, neuological problems, and more..
there is no cure and they said if I have one more pancreas infection they
need to remove my pancreas... I have spent the last 20 years laying in chairs
and beds resting too weak and sick to do much... I am just waiting for the
day comes that the next fever takes me back into icu...
