I'm sorry to hear this news. You've found a good place for info. We will all help if we can.

These masses are not always malignant. If they can they will remove it... that would be best. They should be talking about a biopsy. There is a huge difference between 2cm and 4cm, find out which it is... a 4cm tumor could be pressing against other organs and be a bigger problem.

If you are going to the doctor appointments with your dad, I recommend bringing a pad and paper. Before you even go list questions you have. Then get the answers at the doctors appointment.
