Actually I had the pleasure of personally meeting shawnee a few years back... She does check the board here and there, so if you post to her personally, she will most likely respond. Also, just put 'shawnee' in the search engine...all her previous posts will pop up.
Here's a copy and paste of one of her posts....

I dont post too often unless I feel I may help someone..I also feel that posting good news help give other people hope. I just reached my 9 yr since dx. I was dx in 02 the day my grandaughter was born. I had the whipple, there were lymp node involved and I started on 5fu and rad.via a fanny pack for 6 wks. My next scan showed the ca had met. to my liver, there wasnt much hope..I then started gemzar and taxotere for the next 2 yrs.I have been off all treatment 61/2 yrs .all scan have been good.I am living a good life...I am blessed . My husband died in 97 of pc after a 9 mo. battle. So each year that my grandaughter celebrates her birthday I celebrate my life..Hoping next year to have my whole family together for a 10 yr celebration.. Having a positive outlook is so very important..We must fight the fight of our live..Please never give up hope..there are miracles
