A friend from here who passed a year ago had the experience that she was discharged the day after her whipple yes, a day after. She stayed in town and ended up back in the ER but had to be taken by car because the hospital JH was on fly by which means it is closed to ambulances and they have to go to a different hospital. Some here may remember her story. She was a big contributor to this board for a very long time.
