My husband has a neuroendocrine tumor on the head of the pancreas with mets on his liver that are inoperable. Chemo to date has stopped growth but has not shrunk it any. Over the last week he has begun flushing again majorly up to 20 times a day, not much everytime but some. He did try to go off immodium for a day but the flushing has continued even though he has been back on for a couple of days. He has been taking enzymes and has the whole time. We recently found out the chemo regiment he is on is not shrinking anything though both the tumor on the pancreas and spots on the liver are not shrinking. Any suggestions why the flushing is back (he did have at time of diagnosis) could going off immodium for 1 day cause this or is it likely something else is happening?? We go back to Dr on Wednesday just want to be prepared mentally.

Thanks for any suggestions.

Lynne
