Thank you for your info. My wife was doing good after her Whipple. Eating and exercised she was able to return to work 9 wks after whipple. About 9 mos out she began to loose weight again and started with the gerd. Only recently did they decide to investigate the weight loss. Endoscopy was used to find ulcer, didn't show up on scans but upper GI showed extremely slow for contrast to make it into intestines a couple hours, it should have been minutes. Was your husband able to gain back any weight? We are very hopeful this will get her back into the swing of living. Thanks, Bill.
