Today was a great day. Stephen got the vent tube out and now he hasn't stopped calling my name. He's trying to absorb everything and is doing some crazy things still, like speaking French to the respiratory therapist and getting mad at me because I'm not taking him home or taking off his restraints.

It's amazing how he knows to be mad at me, but to his cute little nurse he plasters this 'saccharin sweet' smile on his face and tells her she's cute!

Everyone knew I would have my hands full when he woke up, and I definitely do, but I'm grateful beyond words...and exhausted!!!

Have a great weekend everyone!
