I forgot to answer your last question...Yes I had the Whipple done in April 2010 by Dr. Carlos Fernandez at Mass. General Boston and he was horrified by the incompetence of the Hospital and doctors in Connecticut. He is the most compassionate, caring and competent doctor's. He removed the head of the pancreas, gall bladder, part of the duodenum and stomach and 21 lymph nodes. At present I do not need any further treatment just keep a check with an ono dr.
