Yes I had a lot of symptoms before I got the acute attack very similar to yours stomach pain, back pain, throwing up, bm etc. told I had an irritable bowel, I was lactose intolerant, had a 24 hour stomach virus. I was also stressed out as Care Giver for my husband he had Non Hodgkin Cancer. Had a Ct Scan in the hospital found scar tissue, see the gastro dr in a year for another Ct Scan. I did, he said everything was the same, he urged me to get a Colonoscopy. I did 2 large polyps removed he clipped one the other after I went home hemorrhaged and I went back to the hospital had that clipped another week in hospital very anemic. When I was diagnosed with diabetes I lost my husband with his battle to cancer. The following year same old symptoms returned plus jaundice my primary dr said I was allergic to my kitty see a dermatologist instead I tried to see the gastro dr. Couldn't get an appointment with him but the Physcian Nurse saw me gave the best exam I had in years, ordered another Ct Scan and that is when they found a massive tumor. Now the top Gastro dr would see me put a stent in and wanted me to get Whipple Surgery in their Hospital. Two of my sons from out of State came took me out of the State of Connecticut found a top notch Hospital and doctor. Sons moved me close to them, now have excellent doctors and hospital, family 5 minutes away and able to live independently with my kitty that I was never allergic too! I hope I didn't bore you with this long Saga. My heart bleeds for you and hope you find some comfort soon.
