GTX. However, I am currently on Xeloda alone. Quick history; dx'ed Nov. 2007 stage IV inoperable, started GTX in Dec 2007, full response to GTX without 'severe' side effects, declared NED (no evidence of disease) June 2008, kept doing full GTX until April 2009, then Xeloda only until Nov. 2009, Then nothing until the end of January 2010 when CT and MRI confirmed a new spot on the head of the pancreas. Started GTX again, biopsy confirmed recurrance, immediately started seeing response to GTX, declared NED again in August 2010, cut back to just Xeloda again in Oct 2010, last MRI on Dec 3rd... still NED!

I have a very good friend, Marti, who has been on folfirinox since July 2008, and is now NED also. Different Chemo protocols have different result depending on the patient.

I have found that attitude plays a huge part in this. I just would not accept it when the doc's told me I had 3 to 6 months to live... I felt better than that! Besides, I believe only God knows the hour of our passing, not men. I found a Doc that agreed that we should try anything, settled on GTX and never looked back.

Now, I live one day at a time. I go to bed each night repenting my shortcomings, and wake up each morning thankful for another day to try and to do better job. I am Happy.

God Bless,
