E.J. (age 69) had double gastro jejunostomy to bypass the problem area; they removed the duodenum, then re-attached the intestines on the opposite side of the stomach, then did the same with the bile duct, re-routed it as it was completely blocked. Ask if you can have such a procedure. E.J. had that done on 7-6-09. He is still able to eat solid food, drinks, and doesn't have the bile problem anymore.
