Hi Donna, My husband, Mark, was diagnosed two months before Adrian. He also has bone mets. I was reading your previous posts and wonder how often Adrian receives Zometa. Mark has the kind of bone cancer that adds calcium to the bone so the bones get thicker. We have been told all kinds of different things (from different doctors) regarding whether or not Mark should take Zometa and how often. In the past year and a half, he's only had it twice. It looks like Adrian's bone mets have improved. Mark's, on the other hand, have worsened and he's getting radiation right now to treat the pain. This tells me he should probably be taking the Zometa on a more regular basis. What do you think? Anyone else out there on Zometa????
