Cathy-It looks like Dr. Fine's protocol now is ICC, not ICM. Did mitomyicin come up at all, and did Dr. Fine give any specifics about the CYCLO.......? I never heard of that drug before. Also, I take it that he did not suggest taking Tarceva on the off weeks which Carole does. Also, Nexevar is now being prescribed for Dr. Schreibman's patients that are not only on ICM, but also GTX. I assume, as always, that comes from Dr. Fine. They are being asked to take it for 4 days around the time of each infusion. As you know, Carole tried it and had a severe reaction, bad swelling of the face , rash, etc. It did clear up when she stopped it and took an anti-inflammatory steroid for 5 days. I hope your Dad knocks it out of the park with another 5 year + run with ICC. The best to both of you and your entire family for 2011. Dick
