Pat: Thanks! for your reply:

o 'Now I'm curious, as I've never heard of a pseudocyst being resolved by a special diet....but who knows?' Same here. o 'Do you have PC?' No, had Roux-en-Y pancreatico-jejunostomy plus excavation of the pancreatic head (Frey procedure) w/multiple cysto-jejuostomies in continuity for multiple large pseudocysts. o 'Is your cyst small?' 5.2 or so at last CT. o 'Symptoms?' No. o 'My brother (who does not have PC) developed pseudocysts as a result of an attack of severe pancreatitis of unknown origin. The latest was 10 cm. No symptoms, but they recently drained it due to the size. His diet is not actually restricted, although he does watch his fat intake.' Is your brother a diabetic as a result of pancreatitis & subsequent pseudocysts/drainage procedure? o'Good luck!' Thank you.
