Can you call and ask about increasing the dose of the fentanyl patch until he is able to start chemo? Is he also getting infusions of Zometa every 3-4 weeks to help manage his bone mets and reduce the risk of fracture? Is he on any anti-inflammatory medicines as well for the pain? Sometimes a combination of things can help.

Hoping you can start chemo as soon as possible. Fingers crossed for you both.
