I had my Whipple surgery the end of July, and will be starting chemotherapy this week. Since my pathology was Stage IIb (pT3pN1bMx), I have chosen to go with aggressive combo chemo + radiation (Folfirinox). I am relatively young (62)and in good health overall. I noticed this morning that I seem to be losing my hair - coming out in some clumps when I washed it. Is this due to malabsorption post-whipple? I am still trying to get the amount of enzymes I am taking better defined - now up to 30000 units with each meal, but still not gaining any weight. Any information would be appreciated.
