Yes, I got a pathology report which showed that I have non functioning, poorly differentiated (G3 or high grade) neuro endocrine tumor disease. They probably told you this means that it is aggressive or highly malignant. I have read lots of studies about prognosis and of course the statistics aren't that great for us with this condition but one can hope. I also had a liver met. I was diagnosed on April 22nd so I am very new to this as well. Doctors won't give me a prognosis as each person is different but they do tell me it is not a good situation. Nonetheless, after my whipple at the end of April, I am clean and had a clean scan not long ago and I continue to pray and hope that that will continue to be the case. Best of luck!
