anybody that might know the answer. I just had a mri of the abdomen on sunday , the report today states i have lesions at the head of the pancreas, prior to this , back in 2003, have not had a doctor all this time, no insurance, husband died. well, i had a spot an area show up on e u s, but the doc was unable to hit on it for fine needle biospy , . since then i developed severe diabetes in 2005 im on insulin , it s uncontrolled.

i m having severe battles off and on with pancreatitis, and the latest m r i show s these lesions, suggesting i go for a c t pancratic protocall right away .

well the g i doc has ordered a pet and ct scan combined for this week latter.

What do you all think could be happening here. Is this the beginning to the end. My cousin just died of pancreatic cancer.

pls respond,

p.s. i did have thyroid cancer papillary with follicular back in 2000 but i don't think this is related.
