Thank you to EVERYONE of you that has given me some great information. This is definitely a tough & confusing spot for my dad & my family to be in. I gave him the info for Dr. Shah at OSU. I also asked him if he's considering a 2nd opinion. and I've e-mailed him the link to fill out an authorization form so that I could possibly speak to his doctor. This is just tough because my step-mom passed away from Melanoma in 2002 when my younger brothers were 10 & 13 so I know that this is hard for all of us to not be in denial especially with my dad feeling so well right now. I also work for hospice so I think out of all of us kids I feel more that he needs to be very assertive, but I know before when I gave him info that my medical director & a nurse I work with told me after they looked at his medical records(with his permission) he told me that everytime he spoke to me I was depressing him. I just want to figure out how to convey the importance of being pro-active without bringing him down or without him thinking that I think that he's dying. : (
