Hi, My dad was diagnosised with well-behaved neuroendocrine cancer of the pancreas about a month ago. The doctors found a small tumor on the tail of his pancreas & multiple tumors in his liver. The doctor told him at this point surgery is not needed, however my dad has to get monthly shots of Sandostatin. Because th...is type of Pancreatic cancer is so rare & my dad keeps saying that he's 'healthy' except for the cancer, I don't know how serious this could be. Anyone know anything about this? Thank you.
