I find it really distasteful that you guys are talking about attorneys because someone had a bad outcome while being treated for a serious illness. This is the problem with our society. As soon as something doesn't go exactly as planned (and in medicine, with serious illnesses this is often the case despite HERCULEAN efforts) people immediately want to hire an attorney to sue. Doctors can't cure everything and it is really ridiculous how as soon as something goes wrong everyone is up in arms 'did you speak to an attorney?' This is part of the reason health care costs are so high, as well, meanwhile the attorneys are raking in the bucks threatening to sue every doctor and hospital when the outcome isn't exactly as planned. It is sickening.
