My sister was diagnosed in June of 2009 with cholangeocarcinoma at the young
age of 42. She has undergone two different types of chemo as well as
radiation therapy. The cancer is still spreading and now her doctor has told
her that she is down to the end and that there is one other treatment that
they will try and if that does not work they are out of options. The drug
they are now going to try is docetaxel.
Does any one know anything about this drug or any other type of treatment
that I can look into? I am new to this discussion board and posting,
however I am willing to look into anything that will extend my sisters time.
Thank you in advance for any feedback as it is very much appreciated.
