I had my CA 19-9 level checked in mid-February when I first arrived at MD Anderson. Then I started a regime of neoadjuvant chemoradiation, which ended April 7.

I'll next be checked on May 10. So almost 3 months.

My radiation oncologist and I discussed whether to order the test for one of my weekly blood draws, but we both decided there was no point as I was tolerating the chemo and radiation well and he would still advocate that I finish all 28 radiation treatments anyway.
