I have posted several times here over the past year. Many of you are following my husband's story. Long story short, he was diagnosed with neuroendocrine/acinar mix pancreatic cancer. Had surgery at JHH Feb 2009. He has been taking sandostatin injections monthly. Just finished 18 weeks of chemo in January for the METS to the liver. Had a PET scan this week and the scan was clear! No signs of any cancer, and the lesions are inactive and shrinking! I just wanted to post some hopeful news!!! I want to thank the doctors at JHH who performed the surgery and their continued communication with me and our oncologist up here in NY. Next PET scan now in 6 months.
