Carol, my marker had been going up slowly after gemzar and radiation. I developed a serious blood infection which started with chills and fever off and on for a few days before it really took hold. Ended up with IV antibiotics for 1 month.

While being treated my CA-19 did come down a bit. Will be tested again soon to see how it is after this series of antibiotics.
