Praying for a miracle... was posted 08/31/2000 11:15 pm by Traci

Well, hospice has gone from "optional" to full time. Isn't it funny how they say "optional", who had the option? Any way, dad's system is beginning to shut down and time is getting real short. I have been praying and begging for a miracle (not only recently, but for the past year) and it just doesn't look like I'm gonna get one. This is so not right, things aren't suppose to happen like this. Dad has always been my rock when things got tough (I'm a marshmallow), he has been the one to get me through times like this but he isn't able to help me now. This is pretty tough, anybody got any ideas on surviving this? Besides the "get drunk" approach since alcohol makes me sick. He is such a good man, and one hell of a fighter...too bad his drs got their degrees from a cracker jack box! Guess I'll quit venting now.
