KEK, I have been following SUPG closely for the last couple of months (I wonder why?). I know several of the top researchers for the company suddenly aborted ship, but they were quickly replaced with other expeerts. The major complaint that I see from an investors point of view is this: The CEO, Dr. Joe Rubinfeld has his wife on the Board of Directors, his daughter managing the clinical trial program and his son involved somehow in the company too. Most investors that I have talked to are "disgusted" with imept management i.e., which was part of the reason why Prudential "downgraded" SUPG from a buy to a hold. They would rather see "professionals" operating the company, not immediate family that might not be as seasoned as some other trained person. So because of this, the date for potential FDA approval of RFS2000 has probably been pushed forward a year or so (possibly 2002). The efficiacy of RFS2000 is not at issue at all here, but the management is the big question. I find it a dirty shame that because of inept management, a possible life extending/saving treatment is kept out of the hands of the general public (except for clinical trials). But on the other hand, it is probably good for SUPG to adhere to the strict protocol of the clinical trial so that none of the results are skewed. Talk to you later, Joe
