I printed out your Letter and gave it to my children's father....I want to thank you so much because lately he has been living like a fog...It was uplifting to him ....I want to ask you some questions and maybe you canhelp...Did you have surgery? his tumor is 4.4 cm so not operable, it has spread to the stomach lining, not to the liver...at first he was given Xeloda for 3 weeks, he didn't have a negative reaction, just dryness in his palms and feet...however, his oncologist never performed any kinds of tests...through this web site I found out about Super Gen and they gave him the name of an onc in Miami that works with Rubetican..He did go see him, and liked his approach, so he changed..Had his first CA 19 which was high..Platlets level low, so he was given Pancreatic Enzymes and some kind of injection to elevate the count..After 3 longs weeks with no treatment, was finally put on Gemzar. He developed a rash and his platlets went down so they didn't administer it the following week...Now, he goes on Tuesday (after labor day again). This time our daughter, age 25 has insisted on going with him....What can she ask? Thank you for any info you can give me...
