Also, sometimes they might give your husband a medicine called ativan before his chemo (ask them..... you will get to know all of the medicines). It helps prevent nausea, but often makes my mom so tired she even falls asleep for awhile.

Definitely drinking over the next week is key. Just keep water/drinks next to him all the time, and encourage sipping.

Your doing a great job trying to figure out what to do to help your husband.
