I think it really depends on the doctor, when it comes to dealing with quality of life issues.

A family friend was diagnosed with PC, Stage IV. He told his doctor 'I don't want chemo, at all. I want to enjoy the time I have left with my wife. I don't want to be weak and frail and sick all the time.' His doctor was ok with his decision. He passed a few months later, but he and his wife had a great few months. He was in his 70s.

Enjoy the honeymoon!

Best- Marc
