I would not delay treatment; the surgeon told my husband that a tumor can double in size in three months; which is what happened to us; he started chemo 3 wks on, then one week off; which means we had a two week break; we went on a beach vacation while he was on a two week break; and the only thing he had to do was take a little rest each afternoon; it was a great vacation; but yet we knew he was already started on treatment; you do have breaks in between treatments, that is when we decided to go.
