Been lurking for a while but this is my first post. My husband (54) was diagnosed in 1/09. Full whipple, gemzar, radiation (with xeloda) more gemzar. Off chemo for a couple of months, now on abraxane/gemzar every other friday due to climing ca19-9. It has dropped dramatically since starting the A/G cocktail.

Anyway - he has done remarkable well and still works full time. Sometimes may stay home on Mon & Tuesday after friday chemo, but works the rest of the week and the whole 'off' week. My question is on enzymes. He is supposed to take the creon with every meal but thinks it makes the diarrhea worse. He is not loosing weight so he thinks it's OK to skip the enzymes. Any input?
