My husband, best friend, lover, soul mate, my life; was diagnosed with stage IV gallbladder cancer on Oct. 23, 2009 at the young age of 53. We have raised 6 children, youngest is a senior with plans of college this Fall. Our turn was just around the corner. Don't get me wrong, we have enjoyed all of the years raising our family, but we were to travel. We bought our 5th wheel camper, adventures for us to begin. I'm scared, no I'm terrified, and need advice on how someone has gotten through this. We are enjoying our days, we have to work (have our own business so luckily can work together, except when he is too tired) but it is so hard pretending that everything is okay and to live normal days with this thought always, always on my mind that I am going to lose my husband to this dreadful cancer and cannot imagine going on without him. We have always worked together, played together and prayed together. We have beautiful children, yet they all are busy with their own lives. I am rambling, sorry. I want our 'Golden Years'.
