my sister was diagnosed at age 39 with Bile duct cancer in Dec 09. had the whipple surgery right after xmas. found out there were some abnormal cells around the area after. was supposed to have chemo and radiation. found out yesterday it is in the liver, two larger masses and alot of smaller ones. scheduled to start pill form chemo today, has had 2 chemo treatments with port already and will continue that once a week, along with the pill chemo. did anyone ever hear of this and know someone that was healed. we are being told there will be no cure, just treatment. i was wondering is there anything someone can tell me to help her. liver transplantation is not an option since it did not originate there and spread to it. i appreciate any information.
