Our oncologist is pretty aggressive.

He started my partner on Gemzar/Taxotere/Avastin (all IV) and Xeloda. I've heard that this treatment can be harsh on some, but my partner has had little to no side effects (besides losing his hair). You should go for a second opinion near where are and ask about this treatment. If you are in NY state, Buffalo has a cancer center, and there's always Memorial Sloan Kettering in NYC.

Our doc is Virgil Rose. He is at the Cancer Centers of North Carolina, in Raleigh.
