I'm so sorry to hear about your mom. My mom has stage IV GBC and was in
tremendous pain until the doc put her on a 72 hour, 25 mg fentanyl patch. It
worked like a charm. Oxycodene did nothing except constipate her. When some
of the lymph nodes started growing again and her pain returned, they upped
her dose by having her switch the patch every 48 hours. Again, this worked
like a charm. My brother in law has Stage IV pancreatic cancer and he
hated the OXY also. Don't know what pain meds your mom has tried, but hope
this helps. Best of luck and God Bless. Kathleen
