Sorry to hear about your mother. My mom, also 82, was diagnosed in June
2009. She had a stent put in and then went through radiation from July too
Sept. 2. Since she has had some good days but not many. She has not gotten
her strength back and has had back and stomach pains. Two weeks ago, they
found that her tube from kidney to bladder was blocked so put a stent in it.
She has been uncomfortable with it and they are going to take it out
tomorrow. She has been taking pain meds, but they make her constipated and
she doesn't like them. I don't know what to do to help her and don't know
what to expect. She is weary and weak most of the time. I try to get her to
walk some but don't know if I should push since she is weak. Is being this
weak normal? Is she close to the end or can we expect her to get stronger?
I'm at a lose.
