I am from California and had experience with the surgeons at USC in Los
Angeles. My Dad's surgeon is aggressive with surgery. His name is Dr. Rick
Selby. His email is posted on the PC discussion board. One of the best
oncologists for all gastrointestinal cancers is Dr. Heinz-Josef Lenz at
USC/Norris Comprehensive Cancer Hospital at the medical campus for USC.
Google his name and see all the hits you will get on him. He does all GI
types of cancer.
Do link to the pancreatic cancer board and ask whom treats in New York or
closer to where you are. Some people have a list of oncologists and surgeons
from many different States that is helpful. Sometimes travelling across the
country takes a toll on the patient. I wish you all the best in getting a
second opinion. Take care...........Mary
