Someone asked about this a few days ago, to which I replied that Aloe Vera can be very beneficial. It has anti-inflammatory properties and is used by those who suffer from IBS, stomach upset and Diverticulitis. If anything it has the ability to provide vitality to those with pancreatic cancer. Lily of the Desert is a good brand. You can probably get this at your local health food store, or online.

Depending on the type of the type of chemo that you are receiving there are other supplements that you might want to look into as well. Below is a link to Oncologychannel that provides a list of common chemo treatments and supplements, including aloe vera, that can work well to reduce toxicity and side effects.

Aloe Vera is a completely natural product. Just a small amount (1/4 cup) in your favourite juice daily, is sufficient. Do however, discuss this with your oncologist in any event. If he/she is open-minded, there shouldn't be a problem.

Best of luck to you.
