Sherrie is turning 43 next week and celebrating 5 years post DX on January 10. At that time, stage 4, no surgery options, took Sandostatin alone for 6 months, then Alpha Interferon plus Sandostatin LAR 40mg for 2.5 years with shrikage and stability, then on to RAD001 trial with no success.

Lastly, treated Dec. '08 and Feb '09 in Basel, Switzerland with Y-90 and had at least a 50% overall reduction of tumor mass throughout her body ( including Liver ).Has done nothing but Sandostatin LAR 60mg x 28 days since the last treatment......fingers crossed and a scan on January 6.
