What is the clinical trial at JHH that your husband is eligible for? It might help us assess which is the better option. In general, if it is feasible, tumor profiling at TGen might be worthwhile even if you opt for the clinical trial at JHH. The tumor profile could help doctors come up with treatment ideas in the event that the JHH clinical trial is ineffective or is effective but doesn't allow follow-up treatments.
It is worth noting that Dr. Von Hoff's team only conducts clinical trials. Dr. Von Hoff will consult with you and recommend a course of treatment that may not involve a clinical trial, but you will need to receive this treatment elsewhere (perhaps you could obtain treatment at the institution where you received the gemzar and cisplatin).
Both Dr. Von Hoff and Dr. Laheru are at the top of this field. In terms of personal style, I would say that Dr. Von Hoff is more 'inspiring.' Dr. Laheru is more subdued, but he does care. Dr. Von Hoff also tends to be more open with information than Dr. Laheru; Dr. Laheru doesn't volunteer a lot of information unless you directly ask.
Since your husband only has one liver met, is RFA or Sir-spheres/Thereasphere
